ABOUT ME

Dennis Mirosh
My name is Dennis Mirosh and I have been involved with fitness my whole life. I did karate when I was younger, played football, wrestled, did track, and continue to train boxing, muay thai, jiu jitsu, and mixed martial arts. I have been lifting weights for many years and continue to learn more and more. I constantly push to stay in shape and live a healthy lifestyle. This is the best way to then push the same lifestyle onto others.
I am graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Health Promotion and Education. I have intensions of going on to physical therapy school after I graduate. I have interned at Explosion Fitness Solutions in Fairfield, Ohio, Dayton Children's Hospital Physical Therapy in Dayton, Ohio, Athletico Rehabilitation in Liberty Twp, Ohio, and Breakthough Personal Training in Cincinnati, Ohio.
I have gained so much knowledge from my internships that I can apply to both fitness and rehabilitation. I have experienced new techniques that I have never heard of that can be used for both fitness and rehabilitation. My mission is to spread to benefits of fitness and rehabilitation to people in need and make their pains and illnesses go away.

experience
My internship at Breakthrough Personal Training was my most memorable and my biggest learning experience. I learned exercises that I would have never throught of. At Breakthrough it is all about how the body is shaped and how it moves. The trainers there work with you based on those two aspects. Many pains were relieved from the exercises that the trainers taught clients. The biggest focus there is rehabilitation. Through being able to move your body into multiple directions and having a strong structure, the trainers are able to loosen up certain parts of the body while strengthening the rest. Full body tension is a huge aspect of the training. They also believe in the Triple Chain theory which connects the body together in three parts(Shoulders to Arms, Shoulders to hips, and hips to feet). Being able to be strong, fluid, and mobile in the three chains is what keeps a person's body healthy. Technique was an extremely important part of the training. The body must stay in structure in order for it to work together properly and prevent injury. I will be able to take this knowledge and apply it to personal training and physical therapy in the future. Breakthrough has opened my eyes about the fitness world and tied it into my ultimate goal of physical therapy. Breakthrough was the best learning experience I have ever had in the field of fitness and rehabilitation.
